should i go with a sealed or ported box and how much max power should i give them. it doesn't state max power allowed. it says its different for each application

It says its different for each application because theyre one of the few companies that are able to recognize that powerhandling depends a lot on the application and the box its in. I will be running mine in a ported enclosure

So do you even feel that the brahma is a better SQ sub than the Polk Sr? I see that the brahma even needs less volume in a sealed enclosure... I would love that! only 0.5 cu.ft per sub
I listen to hard and fast beat house music, goa, and electro. What do you think?

I cannot compare the two as I havent heard the new SR. What I will say is that I will be getting a SR sub for my g/f's car and not a brahma, if that means anything.

If your looking for sheer volume (SPL) - look into DD (Digital Designs), Audioque, fi, Atomic, etc.

For the amps, plenty options but it will really all come down to your budget - Hifonics genXX, Rockfords, Orion, Kicker, etc.

(my personal favourite is the Hifonics XX Colossus II - 3,200w amp thats actually sorta like two 1,600w amps in a single case. Excellent bang for the buck and quire the performer)

That Pioneer amp you mentioned above (PRS-D5000spl) is also supposedly very decent for the price.

depends on how big of a sealed box, throw it in a half a cube and you can put a good 1200 watts to it

what would you suggest for 2 adire Brahmas. what amps do you recommend for this setup.

In the 1000+ range, I like Rockford Fosgate, MTX and Crossfire. Kicker is worthy too.
