    I need to work on mine also... Has anyone heard of using Corion?.or granite? that's some pretty solid ,somewhat affordable alternative. It would be like the RTA15tl's were/are.I might look into the cost of them soon:rolleyes:
    Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

    No they did not fall apart, still look like the day they were repaired. I bought these from Mike last year. I also have a set with 21 year old solid oak caps that are fine also.

    I'm sure both pair are still in fine condition...I've sold both the 1C's and the 2.3's to CP members...As Lasareath has stated,there has been many a pair of new solid caps made for SDA's over the years...may not be the perfect solution,but worked for me.

    One of the new owners has chimed in,I'm positve the 1C's are also intact.
