I wanted to start a thread talking about Polk electronics....

Originally, I had some trepidation about Polk branching into electronics. However, the products that they have come up with have been, IMO, pretty freakin' awesome.

The XM tuna, myDock and the iSonic...IMO, all offer pretty damn good quality.

Anyone else out there have a myDock or iSonic yet? Whatcha think?

IMO, the myDock, for what it is, is pretty fantastic. I have mine in the office which I share w/ four other dudes so I can't really have a full blown rig. I mean, it's not going to make you ditch your 2ch rig but for an iPod setup this thing rocks.

Just seeing what others think...

I think you should give TLW back her mydock!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, thanks for the comments BDT, I am enjoying the I-Sonic very much, it's bass extension is excellent and it is so friggen flat across the freq. ranges. I am listening to it right now, gets great reception on all kinds of radio stations in my area and it looks really cool. I played a DVD through it and it did fine, it sends video either composite or S-video I wont use it as a primary video machine but its nice to have it, especially for music DVD.

The dual alarm functions are really cool, as they wake you up gently with the loudness of the music increasing a few db every few minutes. Want to snooze a bit, you can, dont even half to have the unit next to the bed, there is a snooze button on the remote!!!!

Its cool and since it has a quick hook for the effing I-pod, well, maybe, but only maybe broham's.

Yes, Polk is not getting left in the dust, in fact they are certainly right there with anyone as far as new digital products. As Matthew told us, you have to be ready to change or get swallowed up by things, something like that anyway.

I have a Mydock and I like it. There XM tuner is fantastic. I like it over all others. Polk shuld make a Sirus tuner with on screen display. I would be ery Intrested in that.

The XM tuner is a nice piece of gear. Since I didn't win any of the other stuff at PF, I can't comment....

Polk should make a Sirius tuner with on screen display.

I asked about that one time. No Dice.

I only have the tuner, but having heard the other stuff, I must say I am rather impressed. The ISonic could use longer feet...
