As promised here are some pics...I wouldve posted them on my system showcase but it won't upload my jpegs (anyone might know why?)

After living with these speakers for a while I am very satisfied. I saw them and bought them in a matter of a day because they had pretty much everything I was looking for in a speaker.
I know I never really fed my LSI9 with the proper power but I really had no urge to get a new amp yet, the 826V are 8 ohm speakers...with that said I was out for a speaker that was easier to drive.
These speakers are underpriced for $2300 a pair retail, they have a sound similiar to Sonus faber IMO...the inverted tweeter is spacious and airy without the usual metal tweeter graininess, the passive woofers put out tremendous clean bass...
I went down to Sound by Singer and pretty much just wanted a quick listen and look and walk out with them...as I listened to the first disc nothing impressed me all that much, it was female vocals and piano, next disc was full band jazz, I sat down and realized these speakers were doing a lot of things right. The second disc produced with better sound quality and the speakers came alive. There was a break in the music and all that was heard was a slamming of piano chords in a crescendo, the build-up was palpable and I was convinced I had my speakers.
The soundstage is wide and high it reaches out to grab you....The speakers disappear behind the sound as if they are not the source of the music.
These sexy french speakers go highly reccomended.
