I am not sure if I am at the right site for these "expensive" Audio Art speaker wires.

SC-5 6 ft for 130.00. Is this correct or am I at the wrong site?

If this is correct 130 dollars for a quality finished speaker wire when it comes to audio is very reasonable (contains some silver to boot). Can somebody post some links to some truly expensive speaker wire and then we will see how reasonable 130 dollars is.

Are you talking about Audio Art or w/e?

The Zebra is 10 ft, double run 10awg, terminated in vampire wire connectors... for like 106 bucks...

One day Sid, you'll learn as you've learned about the advantages of better gear. However, I don't hold out much hope for MikeC78 and his BOZO deal.

I recently purchased some Zebra cables to put together a system for a friend, and even though one end of the terminations didn't fit (not their fault), Zebra offered to re-terminate them with anything of my choice, at no cost...plus they have a lifetime guarantee. They get an 'A' in my book.

    Midnite Mick-

I was comparing the bi-wire sets. I see that the Audio Art come as a pair, I thought they priced them as single. Not so bad prices as I thought, I was comparing to Bestdealcables bi-wire which are 12gauge not 14 gauge and have copper/silver conductors also. BDC is asking for a 9.84'(3m)bi-wire cable pair $188.97, AA is asking for a bi-wire set 6' length $240. AVSforum had a Buy one get one offer on their PowerBuy Forum which I recently took advantage, and IMO got a pretty good deal.

    F1nut-

What "hope" are you referring to, and what "BOZO" deal are you talking about? Please enlighten me!

    Mike

EDIT: I also noticed the longer you go with the cable with Audio Art, the price really goes up. For a 12' bi-wired banana plug set you pay $405, for a 13.12' bi-wired banana plug set from BDC you pay $209.97. That's almost twice the cost and the cable is 14gauge compared to BDC's 12gauge.

so now "not so bad prices" and i took all that b.s. for naught. i guess now they're only $250,000 cables:)
p.s. there are some that say bi-wire only doubles the cost of your cables at no sonic benefit so it is best to get the best single run that you can afford.

:o:D I didn't mean to give you any B.S! I was just being sarcastic marv, those cables are a little rich for my blood that's all.

I'm glad you enjoy them, they are worth every penny to you then. I for one can't afford the prices on them, the BDC's were pushing the envelope with the BOGO offer.

I just ordered the Zebra Jumpers to go w/ the Zebra 10awg.
I say why run 2 wires when you have these complimentary jumpers?

    they werent involved in it...

Actually there where a pair of IC's in the cable swap program. They had just started just before they shut the program down.

Here is the thread on the review. Two people tried them out (Schris22 and Spawndn72) but only Shris22 posted a review. Here it is: Zebra Cables - Review
