I've run out of room for these. I'm the second owner with original receipt, boxes/packing material and IC. They were used gently the last 10 years and only as rears for my HT. Not hardly a nick, bump or pull on them. Rated 7/10 due to age. Local pickup price is $250. I'll double box them if I can find the right size box. I'd like to reserve the weekend for local dibs unless that's frowned upon in here. Non-locals can still call dibs but locals take precedent until midnight monday night.

One of the coolest SDA's created, great price.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Just consider them sold, especially if you have stands.

That's the problem. I'm not sure I'm ready to part with the stands but they do kind of go hand in hand. The stands were working nicely when I had the jbl 4311's hooked up on them. Not exactly the right size but sturdy and strong enough to handle them.

    Russ,

You've got dibs but no problem if you change your mind. These are a pretty easy sell I think since they are easier to ship than the other sdas.

I keep thinking there aren't many polkies in houston and that makes me forget you are only a mile away. You're still welcome to come listen to the SRS's (which aren't for sale).

Thanks for the offer - I will one of these days. I'm kind of afraid to, I think it will make me want them.

Why can you read me like a book?

Dave, I've had plenty of time with plenty of SDA's. If you'd like to be up to bat on these, be my guest, seriously.

    Cheers,
    Russ

That's awsome! Candyman, I will PM you in the morning and maybe we can work something out this weekend. I just grabbed a center channel from George Grand that I haven't quite told the wife bout yet. She's pretty cool, though.

Thanks, Russ! I may still grab that Canton sub for my oldest daughter's room. I put some M-3's in there and they need a little something down low. If you have let it go already, that's okay and I will be patient. She doesn't know what she doesn't know she is missing.

Russ just spent close to $700 for airline tickets to PolkFest. Additionally, Russ needs another pair of speaks like Andy Williams needed another sweater. Do the math and the speakers are Dave's. Life really is that simple at times.

I'm looking for just the right shipping box Dave, but rest assured, it is your CS-300 that just happens to be sitting in my stereo room. I'll get it out.

Dave has the advantage because he can audition them before he buys them but I'm sure Russ has heard a few crs's in his lifetime so he knows how nice they are.

    Dave,

    I'm free tomorrow after 1:30 or 2.

Canton sub is gone, but there is always something to choose from around here.

Just need a cheapo sub that will augment those M-3's. Certainly open to suggestions on this one. She's been good lately, maybe she will get the SDA's and I may put the M-3's in the garage with the Sony receiver that Skynut Karma'd. Damn, too many decisions and options to figure out - the one thing I have figured out is that the sound systems are never static.

I had originally wondered about that Canton for the girl's TV room (where the CS-300 will replace a CS-200 that crackles), but I am building a DIY sub from an SVS driver, a BASH amp, a Precision Port, and some other crap from Parts Express. By the way, SVS tech support was a big help with box size, dimensions, and port size and length. I will post pictures when that is done as it will be a little unique in shape...

sold but with a satisfaction guarantee. Dave came by a couple of hours ago and picked up his first set of sda's. Dave's a super nice guy. He didn't have time to stay and demo anything including the crs's but we had a nice chat. I warned him to make sure his HK receiver is common ground but most likely it is. He seemed a little awestruck by the sight of the srs's but he resisted the temptation to listen to them.

How did I miss this? I just *might* have said 'yes', for $300 shipped. Enjoy the speaks, Dave!!

All I can say is "****!". I have listened to these now for a while and I can't figure it out. How the eff do these things work? If you close your eyes and listen to something like Rush 2112 it seems like you are in the middle of the damn stage!

Damn, I am glad I did not listen to any of the other (like 6 or more sets) of SDA's that Carl has. I might still be over at his place. He has a very impressive setup and I think he has an SDA in every room of his house!

Thanks again Carl! I am now a believer.

Now, we need to figure out a way to incorporate the SDA technology in an in-wall or in-ceiling enclusure so our spouses will love them as much as we do!..
