MOMO 6x9 installation adapters

These aren't going to fit in my GM rear deck. I think the holes are 1" short in both directions. I'm going to have to make an adapter to raise the MOMOs a little so the basket will fit. Any other ideas? Any companies make adapters for speakers that don't fit GM holes? I'm going to make these fit one way or another dammit.
I just installed the 5.25" MOMOs up front and they are EXTREMELY well balanced and surprisingly great bass. The 6x9s have excellent reviews at Crutchfield so I'm definitely dumping my 6x9 9613i Infinitys.
I wonder why the 6x9 MOMOs aren't sold at onlinestereo.com?

You could use high density foam and cover it in vinyl from an apolstry shop.
By the way this might belong in the on the move section.Michael
