Has anyone seen this movie? I went and saw it a couple days ago and it honestly blew all my expectations right out of the water. I realized that it was going to be chock full of action but its origionality and the way that they managed to integrate back story and character development definitely impressed me. The cinematography was very ineteresing and vivid, great sound design and pretty good acting all came together that made a movie which I found to be a fresh breath of air. Anyway for those of you that are on the fence over whether or not to see it I can safely tell you that you'll enjoy it. Its been a while since I have seen a movie in the theater where I can't even peel my eyes off the screen to grab my drink.

Muahahaha, bought this one today. Can't wait for some mindless action. There hasn't been a Jason Statham movie I haven't liked.

Tait Nucleus? Given Deadly "Chinese Cocktail"; Must Keep Going, Or He Dies
CITY CLUB, Aug. 29 -- In a tragic, yet intriguing, turn of events, Electric Six synthesizer player Tait Nucleus? this morning was administered the "Chinese Cocktail" by a group of thugs who wanted him out of the picture... permanently. The "Chinese Cocktail" is a synthetic drug that shuts down the body's adrenal glands, leading to a complete breakdown of cellular regeneration and photosynthesis.

However, every cloud has a lining. As long as he does enough crank and trucker speed, as long as he keeps snapping peoples' necks and punching brick walls, he can live. He's gotta keep going... keep moving... keep running... **** every person he sees, jump every motorcycle off of every drawbridge, jump out of every airplane, crash every car. Keep it up... 1,000 percent of the time. Do that, and he'll be just fine...

For now, Nucleus? is taking it all in stride. "We're going back out on the road on Sept. 12 for the Swiss Vengeance Tour, so I figure if I make it til then, the sheer adrenaline rush of being out on the road with E6 will keep me around another couple months. Plus Ghost City has a show in Hamtramck next week. I'm not worried. There's enough going on to keep me totally amped up."

When asked if he had any ill will towards the ne'er-do-wells who administered the deadly injection, Nucleus? paused to chug a 2-liter of Red Bull and then eat a pack of cigarettes before answering, "Nah, that's just the music industry. That's how it goes. One day, something like this happens and the next day, you're in the Raconteurs. So you take the good with the bad. You just gotta keep going. That having been said, I might spend the day hunting them all down and killing them. In addition to the sweet intoxication of revenge, it'll be good cardiovascular and that's what I need right now."
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

Rented it today, will watch it sometime this week. I'm with Demi, no one does mindless action like Statham. Although the second Transporter movie was pretty bad....
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Watched it last night. Even with the GF asleep next to me and watching at minimal volume, this movie was really entertaining. I think it got to my adrenal glands just watching it. I turned it off at 12:30am and couldn't hardly shut my eyes for a good half hour.

Entertaining action movie. I watched it tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it. I like all of Jason Statham's movies. He definitely has a niche in action movies, but talk about typecasting!!!!!

I watched it a couple of nights ago and this one is a "must see again" type of movie. I liked how they did the humor in it like when he was walking his girl friend out of her apartment. Interesting show during the "bus scene".

I agree, I did not like the character that much, and I do like Statham and his character in The Trasporter.

One thing I missed was that I heard the actor who played Pedro is in this movie but I did not recognize him. Does anyone know which character he played?

I missed this thead, I'm a late bloomer on this one but was worth the wait. I rented it from netflix on Blue ray and it was fantastic. It goes right out of the box and stops at the credits. I love the scene when he was driving in the mall on the phone being chased by the cops , that rules.

    I'm buying this one.
