hello all my name is conqur. i am coming to you by way of grand rapids, michigan. i brought my first polk audio product almost sx months ago. a polk audio sw10 subwoofer. best $150.00 i ever spent. anyhow i have a question concerning biamping a set of surrounds. my father has a set og dpl bookshelf speakers. they can be biamped by i don't know how to do this for him. is this a good idea. he is running a 5.0 set up on an onkyo 603 7.1 reciever.

    Welcome. Don't worry about bi-amping with an AVR. Tell him there are better things to do than worry about bi-amping something.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    welcome to Club Polk.. stick around. you'll have fun and learn a lot.

    bypass the bi amping. you'd be looking at buying external amps if you did.
