    That's a resounding no!

Get rid of that dresser on the corner. leave at least 2-3 feet of free space between the corner of the room and the speakers. Put the speakers forward at least 16 inches. 3 feet would be ideal but i see that you don't have that much real estate available. Try to create a triangle between the speakers and your sweet spot. Toe in the speakers consistent with the triangle.
These changes will create one hell of a soundstage.
Thanks for the placement tips. I'll definitely pull them out from the wall some, but unfortunately the resident interior designer (Mom) does have the final say, and the 'main' pieces of furniture are where they're going to be. However, I'll work with what I've got as best as I can.

    Danger,
I think you are seeing Moms magic touch in that room. Very little AB and alot more AB's Mom. ;)
Are you kidding?? Man, I did all that by myself. That's right, I moved my bed, my dresser, and my chest of drawers by myself. Mom didn't like my plan...but she did let me try it with the right to veto it.
    Very nice gear.
Thank you. Get you some tubes and I'd be inclined to say the same about your rig. :D

Hmm, I wonder if my son will ever stack his room full of electronic equipment. I'm still waiting for one for the light to go off in one in one of my kids. Something like, "gee Dad, you've got a kick **** HT that blows the socks off rich Dad Johnny's HT. I love you".

give them some time... a 3 yr old is a little young don't you think? ha ha ha JK!

I don't know many (youngins, except maybe Sid and AB) who are their age and are interested in this hobby. I know I wasn't either at that age.

Well, your kids have dad to show they the way. good luck. :D

OMG, AB! That's one hell of a system! Like others have mentioned, you've come a long way. See what this forum does to you?;)

Man, I keep forgetting you also have the wave 8's. So I'm guessing you're bi-amping? 8 on tweets and 20 on woofers? That must sound really good.

Any plans for a tube pre?

Keep up the good work, buddy.
