How come I'm the only dope that doesn't have a cool pic pop up? How do you do that?

In the bottom right of the page, there is a box that says
    Forum link (for most forums):

Cut and past the link below it directly into your message box.

    It looks like this:

(I added a few spaces so it would show up) Anyway, just post that in your message and the pic is there.....

Edit - damn, apparently a little to wordy with the reply.... :)

matter of fact, I bet yours would look a little like this.... 40913186.png

How are you guys all up in the 7K's???

I have Comcast and was in the 7ks. I assume it had to do with "SpeedBoost", which gives you double the bandwidth for boosts of speed when downloading. My speed used to be in the 4's.

Nah, it's just this feature they started offering one day. Basically when they sense (somehow) that you're downloading a file between like, I think 2 and 8 MB, they just double the maximum speed they allow you to download at for the duration of that download.

I'm pretty sure it was only certain markets that got it, though.

EDIT: It's apparently actually called PowerBoost. Here's a brief article about it .

Got ya beat! After a certain point latency is what's important, for gaming anyways. Extra bandwidth is wasted if you can't get the latency down. :D

Good old ATT. Once I'm done with the promotional period at $9.99/mo. for 3 Megabits/sec., I'll switch back to the cable company.
