7.1 Opinions

Hey guys, I looked around, and I felt this is the best place to start a thread on this...

I just pre-wired for a 7.1 system. The gentlemen's room is 12' x 33'. The 119 inch projection screen is going to be on the 12' wall. I've heard alot of different opinions on speaker placement for 7.1, but what's your opinion? This isn't the ideal room size for a theater system, but what's your personal opinion?

Thanks alot ;)

    pre-wired?

    "Gentlemen's room" you said?

You should definitely look into inwalls. The LCi series would be a great start.

The sides should be slightly behind your listening position so they don't cancel out signals from the front mains. Rears can be in the corners, or behind your seating.
