Tub'n Tweeter Karma

I have a pair of Sovtek 12AX7LPS tubes, and a pair of Seas 3/4" poly dome tweeters. The tubes have less than 20 hours on them, a bit too mushy for my taste. And the tweeters are brand new with one box open to look at it. I bought them for a speaker overhaul that im gonna go with the factory replacements on.

As far as rules for this karma go:

1. Have to listen to music.
2. Have as many if not more posts than i do, which shouldnt be hard.
3. Let everyone know if you prefer crunchy or creamy peanut butter.
4. Give us your favorite line or phrase from any Pink Floyd tune.
5. One pair per winner, let me know in the post if you would like the tweeters or the tubes.

Guess Ill let it go til Friday this week and ill have my wife pull the names out of a hat.

Thanks and good luck.

Dave

Also, this is my first karma so if the rules dont seem right let me know and ill fix it up. (except the peanut butter rule :p )
Once again we meet at last.

Even some long term Polkies could learn from this new style Karma...good luck everyone. This is an excellent karma Dave.

I'd only be interested in the tubes, but I'll pass alltogether. Others need the stuff more than me although I've never rolled those....hmmm...

    But, uh,
1). I do listen to music
2). Math is hard, but I got it covered
3). Neither as both would kill me
4). "How can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat!" (mostly because my wife busted out laughing the first time she heard it and now I can't stop)
5). Neither, this is a cool Karma and all I have is evil karma so...

Edit: I'll go for the tubes, the ones in my CDP are fading...

Tubes - give my entry to audiobliss, he has one of my other fav lines, and essentially reminded me of the perfect selection to listen to tonight on the VPI.

Thanks Christian, i appreciate the kind words. Im glad someone could use them, both the tweeters and tubes are great equipment and deserve to be enjoyed.

And please keep us updated on the Diy's, im very interested on how they will turn out. Now if only i had some wood working skills...

Also Michael let us know what you think of the LPS' once you getem installed, unfortunately for me they werent to my taste. I'm curious as to your results. I prefer more of an almost bright sound, not harsh mind you just a bit of an edge i guess. Haha actually out of all the tube rolling ive been doing lately, i still keep coming back to the Mesa's faster100 sent me with the preamp i grabbed from him.

Anyway im just glad i could give back a little for all the info ive managed to snag from here. Thanks

I certainly will let you all know what I think of them! However, I've got to work out a humm issue I'm noticing with my Wave 20's before I pop in the new tubes.

With the Klipsch and a SS pre, I've probably already got a fairly 'bright' sound, so I'm hoping the LPS' will fall right into place, though I'm not sure exactly how much of an effect they'll have on the sound seeing as how they'll just be powering the woofs.
