Check these out. I love all American muscle cars but my heart is with Mopar, so obviously these two vids are mopars.

Wow. Those look great. Man, you're not helping my wallet none!

I've decided what we're gonna do. That is, assuming no parents veto any of these plans...

My friend and I are still going to try to get a car down the dragstrip for as much under the 12 second mark as we can, for as cheap as we can, as soon as we can.

I'm hoping for low 11's, at a price no more than $4,000. I've done a good bit of research and reading the past few days, and if we can run into some deals even remotely as good as what I've read about, we should be running pretty for less than that. But seeing as how there's no room to work on it at my place, and we live just over two hours apart....that will complicate things.

But also, I've so fallen in love with the fox body that, if summer jobs and such go well, I just might try and get a nice 89-92 specimen to do right, slowly.

Anyhoo, we'll see what happens. In all likelihood, probably nothing...but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Oh gosh, thanks for the memory. Of course that idea never panned out. I'm now stuck with a crappy hatchback, and now I have to fix it. I slammed it into a curb on the ice over the weekend and pushed the front driver's side wheel back at least 2.5". :(

    The new one?

I would imagine a Fox body mustang would be a rougher ride, with a crappier interior, about the same gas mileage, less power, crappier brakes, crappier suspension, sloppier chassis, and be more likely to kill you when you crash.
I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

The 89-92 is a good choice. 5.0 with roller lifters is a solid start. Look into the LX models. They were lighter than the GT's.

Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.

That may be, but a new mustang would be the cheap speed choice including repairs, parts, availability, etc.
