Horrible news, what a great guy. Never met him in person, but exchanged some gear with him.

I'll raise a glass to Greg tonight.

I didn't really know Greg. I know that he went through a lot of turmoil and pain in the last couple of years due to health problems. I also know based on his posts he loved his HT, golf and beer.

I played golf today and hit a couple of shots in his memory. I'm going to crank the rig up real loud tonight. I'm having a beer right now. Here's a toast to you Greg...and here's a toast to no more pain.

Your family is in my prayers.

    RIP!

He had new disc put in his back and I was going to check with him to see how he liked it.

I just lost a friend at work, he was by my office on Friday and seemed fine, went home and took his life with a pistol.

    Wow, that's a huge shock!

I just purchased a pair of speakers from Greg. I sent him the check on July 5th. After I received the speakers, I Pm'ed him to thank him and never heard back. Now I know why. Sad.

Thanks Mike for discovering this. I never dealt with Greg but this brings closure for those of us who have been wondering about him. I'm glad that Greg's pain is gone but this is unexpected.

When skynut created the thread asking about greg, it got me thinking. Something just did not seem right to me and his absence had a different feel to it this time. Yesterday on a hunch, I went and found his name and did an exact search for it. I got chills when I saw the obituary.

I never met him, but through his posts and private messages, it became obvious he was a really nice guy and a great forum member.

Wow. I read this thread earlier today and I didn't know what to post, so I didn't. I'm still not sure what to post.

I didn't know Greg very well, but if you read the board enough, you get to know the good guys from the dumbasses. Greg was a good guy. I'm still using his old sub in my office rig.

RIP, Greg. Prayers sent to his family and friends.
