I liked it. But, it did scare the crap outta my wife and kids.

Rent it... don't buy it. Ending sucks.

Finally watched it. Wasn't all that scary -- just really bloody. The scariest parts were the realistic parts of being in small places in a cave where you can't turn around.
I still say it was a worthy buy. Interesting concept, and definitely an above average horror flick. I'm just not sold on the idea 'monsters' in these types of movies. -
Just rented this and watched it alone. While it had a couple of jump scenes it was far from scary. Once they encounted the creatures it got a bit cheesy. All the best stuff was up until that point. What was done really well was the way in which it was filmed, it really made you feel what it'd be like crawling through caves.If...
Ron dislikes a film = go out and buy it.
Ron loves a film = don't even rent. -
I've seen this.....good flick. Not much else to say.

Oh yeah, 6 hot chicks and no nudity, none, all I can conclude is that the director is ****. What a waste.If...

I agree 100%. The claustrophobic cave stuff was much scarier than bald, blind 2 teeth monsters. I had avoided reading anything about it and was pretty excited when it became a lost in caves piece. Once it introduced little bald, crazy men who will stop at nothing (no matter how many are killed off) to get some intestines and fill a pool with blood, I thought it just went silly.
Now have those girls batteries burn out and a claustrophobic race to claw themselves out of the pits, then THAT will be a scary movie.
BTW...what was the deal with the ending? Dream, no dream, cake and ice cream?Holydoc (Home Theatre Lover)

I rented this tonight and take back everything I said. I actually liked it.
Yeah it was bloody but it didnt look cartoonish.
The way it was filmed was excellent and the music was awesome! Perfect match for the movie.
And although it was supposed to be taking place in the Appalachians, it was obviously filmed in England.
The ending was a little "WTF?" but I still dug it.
Its not Alien but its definitely very good.
Id give it a solid 7 out of 10.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

Great movie, it kept us riveted. Having claustrophobia and being hyper-sensitive to small, closed in spaces made the horror factor even higher.
