I'm shocked... its cases like this that make me question whether someone's mental state should be able to absolve them of all responsibility for crimes.

    This is stupid

I mean, don't you have to be at least a little wacky in the head to kill someone in the first place? Why do some people get away with it on grounds on insanity and some don't. I think anyone who can actually murder another person is insane, so why not just let them all off...

The jury simply dismissed the phone call to her husband after the deed to tell him "I did it". That in itself shows that she was capable of rational thought. Who cares........just sterilize her and put her on the streets. It looks like her husband did much better this time around as it is.;)

Unbelieveable. Hope she sleeps well at night...

Ironically, my biggest fear is that there isn't a "hell." I'd sure hate to think that people like this don't have to answer to someone.

    No ****...

Ok she is insane and can’t be sent to a prison, so cut her brain out and put her in a mental ward, that would take care of this defense.

Some courts, and juries, seem to be very sympathetic towards child molesters, armed robbers, and murderers if they are female.

I hope they never let her out at least. Wow. That's quite a burden on her soul. I can't believe anyone is capable of that and does not go to prison. I am sure that right now a seat is being dusted of in the 5th ring of the hot place for her.

Well, in the end its a life in jail or a mental ward. She should never be released. What's scary is she will probably be "cured" in 5 years and get out for free...

Yeah, one day she will wake up and decide to "snap out of the craziness" and tell them what they wanna hear..

thing is, i no doubt think she was insane when she did this.. But so how long does the insanity last? a fit of rage and insanity and its done or is this somehow gonna last forever now.. I mean after all she must have led a normal life up to the point of the murders..

I think once, if ever she is found sane again, she go's to prison or the death penalty.. which is what she should get now!!

Mothers alot of times seem to get away with insanity defenses because of stress from kids, life and its a crock of ****.. If a man did it he would fry!!

This is a travesty and the jurors the came to this verdict should be drowned.

As for the husband, I heard somewhere that the US Marshals have him under constant surveillance because he's threatened to kill her.

That's odd. From the quotes I remember he seemed happy she was found not guilty.

What did Ron White say? "some people are insane and eat crayons, some kill people---oh well, you made a bad choice.."

This whole "insanity" stuff is a load a crap, insane or not, your **** needs to be removed from society, period.

The law states that once she is stabilized she can be released back on the streets, and since there aren't any kids left to threaten her, there isn't anyone to snuff, so I say after 5-10 she'll walk. She wasn't found guilty because of insanity, she was found not guilty because of it.

She'll be free to live the last half of her life without those pesky kids.
