Hello all,

The amp in one of my RT1000p's is not working - powers up fine, but starts clipping as soon as I give it a signal.

Is it possible to locate a service manual for this amplifier, or purchase it from Polk?

Thanks!

    Hello,
While I don't have a servie manual I can provide a copy of the amplifier's schematic. If this would be helpful email me at kswauger@polkaudio.com and I can send it.
    Regards, Ken

This is exactly what I need! :) I will e-mail you ASAP.

With the schematic, I'll be able to scope the signal and find where the clipping occurs.

    P.S. E-mail sent!

Ken - If you are able, email me a copy of that as well and I'll get it posted in the schematic thread. Thank you.

Never got a chance to thank Polk CS (Ken).

Thank you for the manual! We fixed the amp and I have had both of my RT1000p's working for months now!!!

    Hello Rooftop59 and Nwohlford,

Thanks for the links and tips. Probably I will recover my solder and put the hands on work.
I don?t expect a lot of help from the Polk distributor apart to offer me to buy a new pair of speakers.

Thanks again and I will report.
