Just depleted the slush fund putting a large down-payment on a new cruiser! Harley 1200 Custom Low Rider. I have to put the windshield and saddle bags on it yet, however a very sweet cruiser.

    Forget the bags and shield.

Go old school and chop it. 86 the mirrors and the sissy bar (go custom later). Then rip the front brake off, throw on some ape hangers and a jockey shift and you'll be on your way.

1200, thats a lot of motor. Most can't handle an 883. Man, I bet that thing moves.

    Cheers,
    Russ

Outstanding! Use a helmet! Or at least use good sense! Stay safe out there. You never know when some old person is going to get in fron of you. Just like Ben Rothlesberger:mad:

Russ - I wish I had a picture of my chopper I built out of a Yamaha 650 twin years ago! I think I'll go for comfort over coolness with this one!

I always wear a helmet! If it ain't a cage, then I have a helmet on. One of my pet peeves is people who don't wear a helmet. I'm all for not having good sense legislated and pushed on me, however motorcycle insurance rates have skyrocketed in part because people don't ride safely and I just hate paying extra for their priviledges.

Very, very nice! Please be careful. I've been thinking about how cool a Harley would be when I move up to the Oregon coast but I'm afraid I'll kill myself or some other fool thing :(
