This is my second post...I'm a new member, and didn't understand the importance of "Title".

I have a pair of SDA1s...They still work beautifully...Been refinished once, and we've moved them 5 times, but during the last move the interconnect cable was lost.

How do I find (or make) a replacement...I'm not a real techie, so I'd appreciate some "Advice For A Dummy".

Thanks

Was your cable the blade/blade or pin/blade style?

Two side-by side male prong pins centered in the top half of the socket, one female pin socket centered below them...three connections in all two male on top, one female centered below.

He definitely has that cable. Joe, you're going to have a tough time finding that one. I'd suggest you call Ken Swauger at Polk and talk to him about what you can do to make a new one.

    Joe,

That specific cable will be tough to find. The good news is that a replacement cable is relatively easy to make. The (potential) bad news is that those specific connectors may not be available anymore. As F1 said, Ken Swauger in Polk Customer service can tell you who their vendor was for that connector and can advise you on the best course towards obtaining or making a replacement cable. Good luck.

Amphenol 97 Series Circular Connectors would work if you want to swap out everything (box and cable connections) if you make a new cable.

    Available at Mouser.com
