I bought a pair of Buggtussel Circa bookshelf speakers and they should arrive on Saturday. The Circas are the companion to my newest love interest -- the Buggtussel Somu floorstanders. Gonna use the Circa bookshelf speakers in a dual center channel configuration.

Most cool.

LOL...I am just the opposite. I could not look my friends in the eye and tell them I own Bugtussels. They are very unforgiving, and I would get ribbed forever.

As Shakespeare once wrote, "A rose by any other name is still a rose."

I'll admit that from a marketing standpoint, a different name may have been more appropriate. However, it's hardly a name you'll forget. If you heard the speakers, the name the designer chose for them becomes irrelevant immediately thereafter.

Wow, and I thought my spelling and sentance structure has been off this week... ;)
There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin

    where did you find them?

I Googled it. I found someone who purchased a pair on ebay. I contacted him and made him an offer.

My Buggs arrived today. The real wood is a brownish color, so they look much older than they are (see pics). I'm using them as a center channel. They are in an audio rack straddling my amp and laying on their side with the tweeters pointed inward. The speakers have a 6.5" midrange and a 0.75" tweeter, both of which matches my fronts.

I like the dual center channel arrangement so far. The dialogue offers more presence; you can sit off center with no problem.

I believe that Queen Aretha actually said "A rose is still a rose". If memory serves, Shakespeare said "a rose by any other name would still smell as sweet".....or something like that.

Of course, I'm sure it could both be said that a Buggtussel is still a Buggtussel.....AND still smells as sweet! :D
