yeah, I think they would just take the DVR box away from me if I canceled the DVR service. Was just hopeful that maybe it was something they could turn off and let me keep the box without using DVR. My current set top box is ok, but occasionally the picture goes out in HD and sometimes the sound can lose sync as well. -

- 15Mbit/2Mbit internet
- one HD DVR
- one HD rec.
- two SD rec.
No premium channels included. Can't get OLN or NHL Centre Ice, that's my only complain so far.
I would be willing to pay even more than that for FIOS quality TV. Too bad it seems like their rollout is pretty slow. I could be waiting for years. -
ok. i'll ask.. what is FIOS?PolkFest 2012, who's going>?

I'm loving digital cable with the dual tuner DVR. it's awesome.. record two programs at one time.. how cool is that?? never again miss anything on TV.
Oh yeah. Dish Network has called me three times in the past week, trying to get me to come back to them. I told em to go e'ff themselves. Those wankers.PolkFest 2012, who's going>?

Were they giving you much incentive to come back? -

Back in Feb or 06, i wanted to go with a dual tuner and HDTV with Dish network.. it would cost me $199 + monthly subscription costs.. basically not worth it. because I was an "existing" custormer. it blows!
Today when they called they said that they are now offering existing customers the same deal as new customers.. which would be $49.99 for a promotional period, dual tuner DVR, etc.. that was the only deal they were offering. I told their customer rep to go F*ck themselves. To bad..i wanted to stay with Dish. but not anymore.
Maybe i should just not watch TV at all anymore. ha ha ha. :rolleyes:PolkFest 2012, who's going>?
