Those Ford straight 6's were pretty much bullet proof. Nothing wrong with the 302. Them suckers can be built to a nice hot rod motor

Still driving my beater '91. Can sit for months but when I need it she fires right up!

My poor ol' Taco was a beater -- 'specially late in life. Utterly reliable, though.
She's a farm truck now in Maine... Ag plates 'n' everything. With a fresh frame under her (y'all know about the Toyota truck frame issues, I reckon), the drivetrain, I think, will keep goin' forever to a good approximation.
@tony M yours is a beautiful truck.

My truck's mileage is correct.
The inspection shop manager commented on the low mileage too. A mechanic there called it the "shiny truck".Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them. -
I have a 52 year old Mercury with 34,268 miles.The best way to predict the future is to invent it.

I had a 90 but I had to give it up as the entire floor boards were salt eaten. Boy I must say Ford had some darn good carpet as it was the only thing between me and the road for a year. I wasn't too worried until I seen the area that held the bench seats was about to drop.....scared me good -

Those are my end gamers.
Genuinely curious! 🧐
Considering their baby brothers are knocking it out of the park with reviewers, the driver selection is on par with my tastes and they just look absolutely stunning, how could they not be my end gamers?
I have not heard them. Who knows they could suck. But I doubt it. I would have to set ears on them before dropping $7k for sure. -

Big bookies do have a certain appeal. I guess I have always associated Wharfedale with much more affordable boxy designs, with an old-fashioned charm, which these are not.
I do like what Air Motion Transformer tweeters I've heard for myself.Alea jacta est! -
