That light is there to indicate that the passenger bag won't activate due to there being not enough weight in the seat. The threshold is usually 80lbs. It's to keep children safe, and remind you that they shouldn't be in the front seat to begin with.

Look at this CL ad I spotted 8 hrs. too late.
I think I know what I missed FOR FREE tonight. What do you all think they are?
I might go by tomorrow morning just to check though! God I wish I'd checked earlier!
Yup, I just checked the measurements and I bet they are/were *******'s.
There was only this picture but it sure looks like GOLDEN GEMS to me!
I just went there...4AM... the big ones were gone, the bose was still there of course.
Check out the picture and give your guess.

They look profoundly generic. Could be anything -- trash or treasure. Yeah, they're worth free, though (unless they're, e.g., roach-infested or reek of cat urine or cigarette smoke).
I'd say the odds are about 70:30 that they're "loss leader"/store brand or generic loudspeakers (if that makes you feel any better)
-
yea, it does.
that's 2 for generic.
I thought they might be Klipsch Heresy's. Almost identical measurements and the name, Heritage, fit also. Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them. -
Cosmetics don't look like any Heresy I've ever seen -- back to the original "Model H".
Looks taller & skinnier to me (so to speak -- it's on its side, you know?).

I've had 2 pr. of Heresy's and I didn't like the look of the grill cloths on the curbside freebees. But maybe somebody replaced the cloth. I've had KLH's that resembled that picture too. But the owner stating "Heritage speakers" got me really interested.
I appreciate you posting those Co. spec. pictures. They were great for comparisons sake. Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them. -
Those links were for the very original morph of what would become the Heresy.

Oh, OK.

Yea, I see. So they were a production style after all. I wonder if they were like Heresys in sound quality? Probably so.Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

Pretty much guarantee it. Good for loosening ear wax -- especially with an MC-250 or MC-2100...

I'm older and thought they sounded pretty good. A little CLEAR but not to bad. When they were on the floor, on my carpet, they sounded the best. I'd buy another pair for 100.00 if they became avail. again.
I worked around loud trucks and machinery a lot in my life so my eardrums have to be thicker than most peoples. Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them. -
I find the Heritage Klipsch to be kind of aggressively ear gouge-y. Not unbearable, but very rough around the edges.
That's why the Cornwalls that I had - and used, for a decade (full disclosure!) - are long gone.

I had a young guy hanging out here on many nights a while back and then around Christmas he stopped by for a visit. But back then he went thru my Cd's and albums and stereo gear and speakers too.. He found a testing album I have and we played it to see our hearing range.
My high hearing is poor. He could hear a lot above 10KHZ. I couldn't hear anything above that I think. I wonder what this ringing in my ears frequency is at.Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them. -
