Stravinsky - The Rite of Spring/Fireworks (Chicago Symphony) Petrouchka (Boston Symphony)
Dexter Gordon - The Other Side of Round Midnight
I also bought a ton of vinyl, but I don't listen to it, I sell it. -
Some good ones, George; looks like the Stravinsky disc is the one I also mentioned. If you enjoyed the Te Kanawa Songs of the Auvergne, I'm sure that you'd really like the Anna Moffo disc that's probably the most beautiful vocal collection that I've ever heard. Besides some of the Canteloube it includes a stunning Vocalise and Bachianas Brasileiras No. 5. It's hard to find these days other than by way of the Arkiv reissue which unfortunately doesn't include Stokowski's interesting notes.

Amy Winehouse - Back to Black

Wardsweb, good call on the B&W sampler. It's a good selection of songs that just plain sound good.

Amy Winehouse- Back to Black (AWESOME!)
Genesis SACD's Trick of the Tail through Abacab....very disappointed after the first listen....they sound worse than some regular cd's I have. I am so bummed after waiting so long for these titles.

Bruce Hornsby and the Range - The Way It Is
