Trying to put together center channel speaks for my HT after having found a pair of SDA-1Cs as mains, I have come across a pair of SDA-1 speakers. Thinking that I might be able to use one as front center and the other as rear center (my wife just left me so I don't give a s**t about having 4,5, 6 or however many monoliths it will take in my living room to make me forget her and immerse myself in hollywood reality!), would this work?

If not for center channel, how about using the SDA-1 speaks for full-range rear surrounds? This is getting better and more wild as I keep writing. Maybe I should just get SDAs allround for a 7.1 setup, throw out one recliner put myself in a sweetspot that can't be beat.

Seriously though, can I any sda's in my application?

What is the purpose of the CRS above each SRS?

Raife, They are just up there until I get the theater set up down stairs.

Are the parts to update the crossovers in the SRS still good or have better options come up since your guide from a couple years ago?

You really need to get rid of those sda crs;) .
    They're horrible for surround sound :p .
I can help by taking them off your hands:D .
That's the least i can do for you;) .
