On the way back from Jose's,the driver was stopped for doing 72 in a 70,truck was searched, dogs were requested, and two speakers were searched(speaker terminal caps ) were removed and flashlights and mirrors were utilized, fortunately a senior officer arrived, and after an explanation was given(vintage speaks, blah, blah, transporting to georgia)the officers were instructed to stop, carefully loaded back on the truck,no citation, and arrived at my home in the wee hours of fri. morning. The 1c's look like new, with the 2's not far behind. My thanks to Jose and his family for their hospitality, packaging, and co-operation, and to the local law enforcement for NOT harming the speakers.
Thats the short of it, :)
    Later,george
