Hi everyone,

Just checking to see if anyone wants some great speakers at a great price.. Last time I tried to sell was probably a bad time. (Christmas time) So maybe now tax returns are comming in maybe I'll have better Luck.. :)

Disregard the prices listed on the website.

Pics are at : http://www.relsyscon.com/projects.htm

New Prices:

Price for SRS2's , 1C's and cs350 is $1300 for the whole set.

OR

SDA SRS2 - $650
SDA 1C - $600
cs350 - $150

I have to sell the SRS2's first, because as you can see they are blocking the doorway in my Living room.

Local pickup in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Kewl! Congrats on aquiring the SRS 2's!

Make sure you get exact values on the caps, even if you have to piggyback them. When I initially rebuilt my SRS 2 crossovers with Solen caps, they didn't have exact values for two caps, so I used a 3.3uf instead of a 4.4uf and a 38uf instead of a 39uf. I ordered .1uf and 1.0uf caps to piggyback them and eventually added them to one crossover to make exact values for one speaker. I thought that speaker sounded better but wanted to get some other opinions.

About that time CP member McLoki was purchasing some speakers from Normanality. We set up the buy at my place cause it was closer and more convenient for him. Without telling them which speaker or why, I asked the two of them to listen to each speaker and pick the one that sounded the best.

I used the Rive's Audio Test CD 2 for a demo. Tracks 63-71 have an excellent recording of D'Angelo Trio / La Pardida. Tracks 69 and 70 are left and right channel only. After alternating between the right and left speakers, they both picked the speaker with the exact values so I suggest doing that right off the bat.

EDIT: My SDA SRS 2 Upgrade thread.

Thanks again,I read your post/thread this afternoon regarding your cap upgrade,I noticed that you opted for the mills 12 watt resistors,I think that I'll follow the same path. ;)

There are differeing opinions from very reliable people on using the 12 watt resistor versus the 5 watt due to inductance, but Mills said other than overbuying it shouldn't be a problem.

Guys,I'm out of the loop for the moment, seems my wife has planned a trip for us next week as a surprise birthday gift.

This was the week I had planned on traveling to Joses to pick up his 1C's

But,I can't spoil the "happy b-day" wishes of the woman of my life.

Anyone wanting these mint 1C's had better jump quick, before I piss off the wife and tell her she be traveling alone...

Well the cs350 is back up for sale...

Reason shipping & box is too much.

    Estimated UPS cost:

    Double box ~$15
    Ship Ground ~$20

So CS350 in perfect condition is up for sale again.

Well good news and bad news.

soiset got his speakers yesterday, he was very happy w/ the condition of the speaker.

As for the bad news, I'll leave it to George to tell everyone.

It was very nice dealing w/ everyone on this BBS. As for my new speakers I'm going w/ some Tyler Acoustics Linbrook Signature's, center & rear sig. monitors.

    I still have a Polk CSi5, so I'm still a Polkie..

    Regards to everyone,
