Distortion from Polk Db6500

Hello, I am running Db6500 components and the right channel tweeter is getting some distortion. It is present at all volumes, but not necessarily on all songs and not particularly loud. It mostly occurs with voices, not music. I have a suspicion that the crossover has gone bad. I have checked the connections and everything seems fine. The left channel sounds good. What else am I missing?

    If its easy enough, hook up that crossover to the other side of speakers. If the noise isn't there, it isn't the crossover :)
