Vincent is a re-badged Chinese brand called Sheng Ya.

I have a Sheng Ya CDP & it is very good. Solidly built and great SQ. I vote for the Vincent > Yamaha.

I've never heard of Vincent before, but based on what Halo said, I would vote for it over the Yamaha, too.

That Yamaha receiver is not going to be putting out anywhere near that kind of wattage, unless it's struck by lightning.

It'd be easier to recommend a receiver if you told us if you were going to listen to music or movies, what kind of music, and what kind of speakers you're going to be powering with it.

What is yor price range? If I were you I'd take a look at Harman Kardon receivers also. They have a store on eBay where you can usually pick something up for a good price :DLINK
