I've got a pair of monitor 4.6's and wanted to replace the back plate with a 5-way binding post version. I have the new back-plate, but when I pull the original out, the crossover and backplate are one assembly. Is there some way to seperate the terminal plate and mount the new one, or should I just leave it alone?

There may be a screw or hex bolt that holds the crossover to the old "backplate". As mentioned previously, a picture would help.

    Do they look like this?
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Yep, thats them.

Well, I got adventurous, and found that they were basically hot-melted and soldered onto the terminal plates. So, I was able to unsolder them and replace them that way, and they seem to be fine. Didn't think of posting a picture for some reason.
