Just get on board somewhere man, I'll be car shopping soon - a one way plane ticket isn't out of the question for the right deal.

    Cheers,

Well, I got to the interview at 9:30 and didn't leave till almost noon. That's usually a good sign. The second guy I talked to, who I'll actually be working under, was ready to stop the interview process right then and there and hire me, but his boss has to interview 5 people or something like that. I hope to hear back from them soon. I hate having to go thru the whole weekend not knowing. That **** drives me crazy!!!!

I was called in for a second interview yesterday. I really didn't have much notice(2 hours) and when I got there, it was with the owner. Well, it didn't go very well in my eyes(even though he said I was still in the running). I wasn't mentally prepared and had no clue it would be with the owner. I told the guy that I'd be working under and he said not to worry. He said he'd spread some jam on it for me. He didn't get his way, because they are still interviewing others, too. Hopefully he has enough pull to get who he wants to work for him.

On the bright side, when I was on my way home, I got a call from another dealer. They somehow had gotten ahold of my resume and want me to come in to talk to them tommorrow morning. He said that a buddy of his had forwarded my resume to him. I'm actually more excited about this one than the other, because it's a small town dealer(Ford-Lincoln-Mercury) and they contacted me, not me them. Things happen for a reason, maybe this is where I'm supposed to be????

    Cool, good luck...

Write thank you notes... Sounds cheesy, but I'll bet the other interviewees won't do it. Brings your name and face back to the forefront as they make their decision.

Things happen for a reason indeed! Good luck, Noel! I am sure your excitement on this one will carry through and work to your advantage.
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

The interview with the FLM dealer went very well. I have a great feeling about this one. I go back Monday for a 2nd interview. He said he felt comfortable with me and I agree. He needs help and fast and I have the skills he needs. Hopefully I'll know something after Monday on both positions. Wouldn't it be funny if I was offered both?? If so, I'll most likely take the FLM even though the drive is quite longer. I just felt more comfortable with him. I like the guy I'd work under at the Mitsu lot, but not his bosses. I'll probably meet the owner of the FLM store Monday, then I'll get a better feeling on the whole situation.
