    Women,
they should learn by now that us Men need simple things in life.We are no different then a kid.We just need our toys, our candy and play time.We work when we have to and thats it.
    We are simple creatures.

Looks like a good price though. Let me tell you, at this point I am single and plan on staying that way. Let a woman think she is coming between me and my SDA's! If the day comes where a wife is necessary she will be totally informed of the precidence of my order of life!

1: My hobbies and anything else I want are the number one consideration.
2: If any children produced become mal-nurished due to the excessiveness of my spending that is too bad. She would need to get a job to compensate.
3: SDA 1.2's are large enough to bury a person in but when it comes to a complaining wife a pine box will be made because she would not be worth giving up a 1.2 for.
4: Any decesions needing a wifes input probably concern something I care nothing about.
5: A wifes love is probably the most important thing a man can have. In no case however does this negate numbers 1 through 4 above.

    I agree,
I don't understand Men who take a back seat to there women. It angers me when mine tries to get inbetween my hobbies and me.I let her do ANYTHING she wants and I don't complain.

Try to not let anything come between you and your wife. If you do that, than your problems will be minimal. MOST guys I know whose wives **** about thier hobbies are bitching because thier husbands don't spend any time with them but do expect them to ensure the house is spotless and dinner is on the table pronto and sensous up, git me a beer......Wendi has no real problems with my hobbies, it's the amount of money it takes up, which in her defense, is probably a legitimate gripe.

Spend a little quality time with the little woman and it will pay big dividends.

I love my wife, I love my SDA's, My wife is my happiness,
I spend most of the time listening to my SDA's when the
wife's at work and she knows that.

That guys wife should understand her husband's hobbies. That's
the problem for some... The WAF!

I agree with TroyD on this one. Usually my wife and I buy something "big" for each other every year. This year she got a couch (sectional) and a laptop. I got surround sound.

Were both happy and we enjoy each others gifts. I use here laptop all the time (when she is not at home), and she loves it when I rent chick flicks for her pop up some popcorn and sit down on her new couch with her and watch some movies in surround.

All about give and take. Although I want a new truck and she is hell bent on a SUV. If only I can get her to take a liking to the Chevy Avalanche.:)

I think Billm57 hit it on the head!

    BTW,
When was the last time one of you guys bitched and moaned about your wifes hobby? Why should you care what she she wants to do on her own? If it gives YOU no pleasure does it matter so long as she enjoys it? Likewise, why should she care what you do? Even the money issue doesn't really cut it. If you only have a limited amount you should still spend the leftovers on whatever silly things make you happy, not on something that must be agreed upon.

The point is that MOST times a woman is bitching about a guys hobbies, it's not about the hobby. It's about the fact that the wife feels that she takes a back seat to the hobby. That is a legitimate complaint in my book.

As far as the money goes, that's a legit gripe as well because when it comes to hobbies, a lot of guys lose sight of the big picture. Just ride through some podunk town in South Carolina and you see it a million times, dude has a new 20K bass boat, 30K 4WD pickup parked in front of a 1968 singlewide on concrete blocks......

It's not the wives, oh no. It's the men who let their wives run all over'em and control them.

I've seen it here in a different way, POS car parked in front of a $1,000,000.00 house with no furniture inside. Would that suit you any better? I think in either case the point is they have what is important to them. That poor guy who has the pickup and bass boat would probably have nothing at all if he left it up to his wife. What do you bet she wants him to sell it to buy her a new diamond ring? (just what they need to be happy in that singlewide)

Oh, I'm not judging anyone or where they live....I'm just saying that there are those folks that put thier wants over the needs of thier family....

Actually, the guy with the POS car and the big house has the advantage because the house is a pretty good investment....

    Yea,
I just re-read that. I didn't mean that in a bad way like it may have come across. I used to know some people who barely scraped by a month at a time. When the guy decided to get married he spent almost a years worth of money to get her a ring. Two years later when I saw them again they still lived in a trailer and had no money. The biggest thing on her mind was that they were going to get a loan to get her a nicer ring. What idiots! Both of them. He should be getting her a house and she should be wanting one! But back to SDA's. They will never own a pair. Or a living room to put them in.
