    to each thier own......I've listened to the Paradigms quite a bit. I like the monitor series and at some point, the Reference bookshelfs are on my "want" list. In short, I think they are very comparable to the Polks......

    I do agree with the 3rd post and the RT powered towers though. Although, I think that powered towers suck as a rule anyway.

    Both companies make a fine product.Paradigm has made and still make a quality sounding speaker, there rears are nice and there floor standing can be compared directly to Polk dollar for dollar.
    In the end , personal taste desides what speaker comes home with you.Kinda liike the Blonde or the red head.

    I love my Polks.:D I love the price.:D

    :):D compared to :D:D means the Polks win for me. If I was looking for new mains I would do some considerable testing between these 2 (plus others). Fortunately my Polks are keeping me out of the search.
