My 404 driver is popping at moderate volumes. I thought it was port noise but after getting closer, I can hear that it is the driver.

I want to take out the driver. How do I remove the rubber seal that covers the driver screws without damaging the seal?
Receiver: harmankardon AVR235
Mains: polk R30
Center: polk CSi3
Rear Surrounds: polk R20
Subwoofer: polk PSW404

Got the woofer out and was surprised. The spider is perfect with no tears, however, the glue looks to have seperated from the spider and the cone as the spider moves freely. See the pics below:

    NM....

    Warranty?

If not, at least you get CP prices....you may even get lucky.

I only have the sub for about a year or year and a half at most; I'm looking for the receipt to check

The date sticker on the driver says Jul 2003.

mine just started the SAME thing. Pulled the amp and found nothing loose.
But it started all of a sudden about a week or two ago while watching War of the Worlds.
Sure I'm in the same boat - About to pull the speaker and check -
Do we get a return authorization before sending this in for service?
