    I heard about it, but I didnt know it was an Enzo. CHRIST they are pricey. what the hell did he do/hit to rip the car apart like that.

    might have been stolen and the owner dont know it. that car isnt exactly a daily driver

    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    The owner was in it. He claims he was a passenger and some German guy was driving, but CHP won't have any of that story.

    300 were originally slated for production but that increased to 399 shortly after production began.

    That whole " I was the passenger and the driver ran off" thing is very popular ..especially with impaired drivers. I have seen them try it a lot.

    Yep, probably stolen. Someone on the up and up who can afford that car can afford a good lawyer, they didn't get rich not knowing how to do math. Unless of course it's some 'high class' drug dealer. Seems they'd be a little more low key than driving a car like that, however.

    I read a witness saw the Enzo get airborn and that is was caused the crash.
    If...

    He was driving. They'll do a type match on the blood and nail him. Obviously he wasn't up to the car. They will do 200+ MPH, but you need to be on a little better surface.

    That guy was very lucky. It hit right behind the roll cage and snapped the back half off. If he'd have hit a foot forward he'd be road pizza.

    What a waste of a fine automobile....

    read somewhere that the car was doing 120 mph racing with a mercedes slr mclaren and then lost control. Sad to see an Enzo go that way. But lucky no one got killed.

    This story would have had a happy ending if, when the driver ran into the power line pole, the power lines had snapped, fell on the car, and the resulting 28,000 volts had ignited the fuel tank. Bam! One less idiot in the world.

    LOS ANGELES - Sheriff's investigators say they still have lots of unanswered questions about last Tuesday's Ferrari wreck on Pacific Coast Highway.

    They say they are trying to determine whether a gun magazine discovered near the wreckage of the one-million-dollar vehicle is connected to the crash.

    Investigators also want to interview a person they believe was with Swedish game machine entrepreneur Stefan Eriksson in the car that slammed into a power pole while moving at 162 miles an hour.

    Meanwhile, a leading Scottish bank has told sheriff's investigators that it may own the destroyed car. And a sheriff's official says detectives are trying to figure out why Scotland Yard in London listed as stolen a Mercedes SLR that Eriksson also owns.
