Need Wall Mount Recommendations For RTi4 Speakers
Greetings All,
I recently purchased a pair of cherry bookshelf RTi4 speakers to complete a 5.1 HT Setup. Both RTi4 speakers will be wall mounted & serve as surrounds. Here the dilemma. I am seeking recommendations for a specific wall mount option that works well with the RTi4 speaker. A particular part# would be greatly appreciated.
This forum & audioholics.com has been a lifesaver throughout the process of purchasing A/V components for a first timer.
Thanks again,
John

smart inverting those 4's Lou. Most would never think to do that, evem at that height.

Good eye!
I played around with them both ways and felt it sounded best with all three front tweeters within 6 inches of each other height wise.

Go to crutchfield.com, they have some really good speaker mounts for good prices. I hung 4 Monitor 30s form the ceiling joists and can put them at any angle I want. They weigh 9lbs, don't know about yours but they have some that can hold up to 20lbs, good luck!NOT MUCH, BUT IT'S ALL MINE!

I second the BT77's. I've got mine holding RT35's. Very sturdy wall mounts.

Why do you need wall mounts?? the Rti4's hang on there own. Keyhole

My personal quest is to save to world of bad audio, one thread at a time. -
Wall mounts allow for angling the speaker to the listening area. Keyhole mounts would limit the position of the speaker and may not give the best sound experience.
I prefer the shelf-type speaker mounts for speakers of this size. Any othe arm mounts make me concerned that the joint may weaken over time.

Any links to this type of mount? I'm considering RTi6's & wil need a way to mount them to the wall or put them on stands. They'll be used for the rear surrounds. -
