I use a old B&O. I am researching some newer and better tables. The B&O is getting close to retirement.

When I started this thread I really meant "who" has a turntable rather than how many everyone had. Interesting though. 29 people own 51 turntables. Who woulda thought... :D

I had three yesteday, but sold the Rega Planar 300 w/RB250 and Audio Note IQ-2 today. That leaves my old trusty Pioneer PL-400 tied to my computer for transfering and my Clearaudio Champion II w/SME 309 and Benz Micro Glider.

Don't have one. Thinking about getting a Pro-ject Debut III.

Thorens TD-126 Mk.III is installed in the He-Man Rig (it bumped the Acoustic Research XA which I had in constant use since 1970).

    So laying around I have:

    AR XA
    Bang & Olufsen RX-2
    Technics SLQ-33
    Technics MA-1

There's more, but I don't know where they are. They show up in my logbook as unsold so they ARE around here somewhere.

I don't think vinyl sounds better than digital, only DIFFERENT. Spare me the speeches, I refuse to go through the ritual of cleaning an album every time I want to listen, even if it does enhance the experience. I don't want another part-time job, I just want to listen to music.

Just have one Technics SL-Q2 for now. Future upgrade is likely...
For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore...

I have a VPI HW19 IV with ET II tonearm and Signet MK 440ml cartridge, a Technics SL-Q2 with a Shure V15 V-MR cart. Have not used the Q2 in several years. I did like it for lack of mechanical parts other than an end of play tonearm return.

Well, let's see: the everyday tt is a b&0 TX-2. Basement systems feature a Philips AF-877 (bought new by yrs. truly) and a Technics SL-Q2. My son's using a Technics SL-1650 (automatic DD) and my daughter (off at college) a Pioneer PL-12D. Gathering dust are a Yamaha P-300 (IIRC), Thorens TD-280, Pioneer PL-512XD, Technics SL-B2, and an SL-23 (the latter of which is going to the swap pile at the town dump next Saturday if I still cannot find a local home for it), some Sony DD, and a DUAL 1019. Most of these are hand me downs or dump finds. I think I've managed to find homes for the others I've had.

Someday, I'll get a real tt (probably a VPI Scout) and be done with it.
