I've noticed an uprising of turntable users lately. How many do we have now?
Me for one. The system is in my sig. It is now my main source. CD is only for those recordings I cannot find on vinyl.

SOPAThank God for different opinions. Imagine the world if we all wanted the same woman -
I've never been without one for the last 40 years, but have recently become more interested and involved with the medium. The decisions to upgrade my table, invest in a good cleaning system, and replace a 35+ year old phono stage all paid off in instantly quantifiable improvements.
There are many labels in my LP collection that will probably never release catalog content in another medium (Rounder, Arhoolie, Tripp to name a few.) I have limited dupes between LP and CD. Some I enjoy much more on LP, others not. The spatial and temporal information conveyed in an analog source is quite interesting and engaging.
Most of all, I just enjoy good music regardless of format. -
I have 2 and am getting one more from Doug, but all are low end so to speak. I still love to listen to the static pops from my collection which I have owned before I moved to this country!!! BTW, vinyl gurus, is there any way to reduce the static?

Just one, an old Dual. Not too much use here.Michael

I got a pair of technics 1200's for when I'm drunk and friends are over, a pretty good pioneer that I've been using a lot lately, and a stanton that's on loan to a friend (that I'll probably just let them keep). I'll probably get a pro-ject once I get into the new house. I had one briefly, but returned it because I couldn't trust my roommates not to break it. I've also rotated through a few pioneers & dual's that I've picked up at garage sales & locally, tried out, then sold on ebay.Gallo Ref 3.1 : Bryston 4b SST : Musical fidelity CD Pre : VPI HW-19
