Does Polk sell DIY replacement woofers for the CSi40? If so, how much are they?

You need to contact Tech Support....ie: Polk customer service. You know...the icon at the top of this page marked "support" or the "contact us" icon.

You really don't have to be a jerk. If I had time during the day then I would contact Tech Support. I have also tried e-mailing Polk when I had questions in the past, but I didn't get an answer.

I saw a Polk customer support person answer a similar question in a recent thread, so I thought I'd give it a shot too.

Finally, the description for this forum reads: "A direct line to Polk Audio customer service. If you've got questions or answers post here."

    Have a great day!

Here's a suggestion, find the time. Maybe take what, 5 minutes.

Well, if I had the time, I'd call them up, find your answers and report back...but I don't. Maybe someone else will.

Polk does not sell a DIY driver that you can buy from Parts Express or something. You will have to buy it from Polk.

    Dont email them, CALL them.

    Hello,
The 6.5" driver for the CSi40 is part number MW7204 and sells for $56.00 as a Club Polk member price, including free FedEx shipping. Some sales tax might apply. You may order by calling us at 1-800-377-7655. Keep in mind the speaker came with a five year warranty to the original owner providing the speakers were purchased from an authorized dealer. If this is the case you may send the driver to Polk Audio, 2550 Britannia Blvd., Suite A, San Diego, CA. 92154. Please include a short note giving us your name, address and a copy of your sales receipt.
    Regards, Ken

Not really, I've just learned over time that it's okay to be stern if someone treats you unfairly.

How come I'm the bad guy now? I wasn't the one who started being rude in this thread. Please understand that I am only giving back what I have recieved. I'm one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet in person or online, but I WILL stick up for myself when stepped on.

I don't know why I didn't get a response the same day? I asked a straight forward tech question and never have heard anything since. I definitely was not being rude!!

For anyone else wondering what to do in this situation....

    polkcs@polkaudio.com
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
