What I really enjoyed about it was all the special effects sounds. My Sub was vibrating & bouncing around my living room.... I was in ectasy!

The actual movie was just ok ... gave it a 6 out of 10.

Agreed with Ern Dog. The use of surround 5.1 is very good. The scene where the bats were attacking Kong has very good surround sounds, and that's true almost for the better half of the movie. Would I own it? nah, too much CGI and not quite sure if Jurassic Park twist really needs to be part of it.
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

I just finished watching it....Yawn!! Too long and as expected...Jack Black was the worst possible choice for the roll he played. Every time that his mug was on screen I was thinking That's the idiot from School of Rock...and he's still playing the same character.

Pete Jackson needs to learn when to say when. The CGI was good, sound was good, but this film could have had about 30-40 minutes cut easily.
