I just purchased the PSW450 sub. The specs say it can go as low as 25hz. If I have a dvd in and a audio passage hits 25hz going into the sub, can I hear that or is the freq going to be higher than what is being input to the sub?

You should be able to hear/feel 25Hz. Your PSW450 is capable of hitting 25Hz. at -3dB. This means that for a given volume, it will reproduce 25Hz. at 3dB lower volume. Depending on your room acoustics, you may or may not actually be able to hear the 25Hz; this plays a very big role in how your sub will sound. Also make sure you play around with the positioning of the sub.

    The PSW450,
can go even lower then 25hz,it can reproduce 22hz at -7bd as I tested it with a tone generator. Its clean and steady. This sub is clean up in the 70hz range as well, not many peeks or dips that I noticed.=or-2 to 5db all threw the range of 150 to 24hz.After that it starts really falling off.
It's an easy sub to setup.
