    Sorry bro that really sux.

Theives hardly ever steel just the wheels and tires anymore since it takes longer to get them off than it does to steal the whole car (gone in 60 seconds).

GM vehicles used to come with wheel locks as standard equipment. I used to work for Goodyear and there are wheel lock removal kits but it'd be hard to imagine someone using it without making a TON of NOISE. Vise Grips work pretty good too.

You're dealing with amatures here - maybe kids. Be happy that the rest of your car is still there.

    + 1 for tirerack.com BTW

You know how they do that, right? Slide the blocks under, let the air out of the tires and pull off the wheels. No muss, no fuss, and very fast.

Notice how they used my yard pavers for the blocks? They knew what they wanted thats for sure.

They are local to your area and knew you had enough pavers, otherwise too much risk.

    Henry:

That has got to piss you off something fierce! Right there in your driveway!

    Scumbag lowlife shitballs!

If there is anything to ease the pain, be thankful it was a clean job and the car is right there.

Time to clean the garage and use it for what it was made for (no belly shot intended).

They still have to get the lug nuts off. Unless they are a NASCAR pit crew it still takes less time to steal the whole car than it does to slide the blocks under the car, let the air out of the tires, and pull the wheels off. Have you ever let the air out of a car tire? It isn't exactly quiet if you want to do it quickly - remove the valve stem and it howls like a banshee. Time is a thief's worst enemy and doing it quietly takes longer. Just my $.02

Sorry for your loss hb but look at it this way - it could've been much worse.

BTW, check to make sure your radio and other electronics still works before filing your claim. It is standard practice to inject a high voltage pulse into your antenna to defeat your alarm system and any sort of alerting device you my have installed. Not that I know anything about this stuff... :)
