AudioCinema is a local audio store that sells Polk Products (HT ONLY!), I talked to the store Manager and he's willing to order some car audio products for me!!! Joe Graham from the Polk International Division said this was OK so Polk is also willing to ship to Costa Rica!!! :D:D

I requested prices for the following products:
(1) SR124-DVC
(1) MMC6500 or SR6500 (depending on the final price)
(1) C400.4 (for bi-amping)
(1) C500.1

I think I'd have to pay full retail price or a bit more, but I think is definately worth it :p

I'm so happy... what do you guys think?

    Polk is pretty much unknown here... everytime somebody sees my sub (DX12) they are like :confused: and they say something like "Have you seen the AudioBahn subs...?, those are the real deal" :rolleyes:

    So I would like to represent Polk even if nobody knows the brand and think I'm a crazy **** :eek: :D

    i would upgrade 'good' to 'excellent', especially for the alarm, especially once everyone starts talking about your system!

    First off, bummer he didn't send ya what you wanted. Second, those sure ain't great prices! I'd try to figure up how much it would cost if someone in the states bought it for you and shipped it to you.

    lol those prices arent bad AT ALL for someone who is specially ordering them for you.

    for us
    sr6500 = 750
    mmc6500 = 300

    You are paying a minor markup considering you are in Costa Rica on top of which you are buying from a LOCAL authorized dealer w/ warranty. Id say go for it bro.

    i'd agree, go for it, IF:
    1) you can get the rest of what you need AT THE SAME TIME... none of this piecemeal crap
    2) you don't have a friend in the US who's willing to buy it all and ship it to you

    I would love to BUT:
    The Polk amp would be around $400 (as you can see I don't get good discounts) and the Crossfire (100x4) I can get it for around $200 new...

    PS. I don't have enough cash to order the MMC6500 and the C400.4 at this moment, so I'll have to wait around 3 months to get the C400.4

    Why am I going to settle for the MMC's...?
    Cars get stolen (and people get killed) by dozens every day here where I live and I'm not willing to loose $3k in audio equipment.

    FYI an alarm won't make any difference...
