This is why you shouldn't run from cops. This is also why you should ALWAYS wear a seatbelt if you do...

I don't see *how* he survived. It looks like the truck hit the center divider at 35-40 mph, threw him clear over the top (12-15 feet) and he landed on his head. I'd say he was a mort when he first hit the pavement... getting run over just scrambled his innards that much more.

There's no way that could have actually happened...is there?!

It's a good thing he wasn't wearing his seat belt. Judging from how torn apart the Explorer was when it hit the divider, he would have had no chance.

Have ya'll ever seen the one with the Vette, out in the desert? The guy was doing 165mph, lost control, hit the back of a semi that was moving at about 50 mph, and was ejected from the disintegrating car. He lived!!! At the end of the clip, you can see him trying to get up.

Let me see if I can find the video.

Here it is.. Not a very good copy, I've seen it a whole lot cleaner

Any chance is better than DEAD...which is what he is. If he had been wearing a seat belt that fact and the airbags might have saved him. Once he ejected it was all over.

He certainly gives credence to Darwin's theory of "natural selection".
