Axiom vs Polk? (yes again)

    Well gang,

    I finally made the 50 mile trip to hear some Polks. However, they only had 3 speakers set up to listen to. Those three were the RTI12, the R30s, and the R50s. I only heard the 12s as a TV speaker and listened to the R30s/R50s. I heard some SRV on these. The R50s did sound quite good. The R30s seemed to be straining with the material. The R50s seemed to be more relaxed and were overall better. But, what really surprised me that these must be the most diminuitive speakers I've ever seen. Man, they were small. They were more like big bookshelf speakers. I was stunned.

    I did like what I heard, though. It makes me want to hear the RTI8s. But, I'd have to drive 200 miles to hear those.
