1. Great sub...Ed Mullen did a comparison between it and a PB12ISD a couple of years ago with the SVS edging it in pretty much every category.
2. Nice sub with DSP/EQ features that can be useful or not depending on listening habits. Great from the low 30s up, distorts and rolls off below 25hz.
3. Pretty much the same as 2 but louder and digs a bit deeper.
4. & 5. are the same sub with the tube perhaps with the slight edge in performance due to more volume.
I've seen 2 for $299 which maybe the deal maker. If you're going to spend $600 then I'd go with 4 or 5, but wouldn't hesitate on 1 if I got a great deal.

My listening habits will be mainly watching movies, so a deeper bass would probably be needed. Is this guess correct?

A lot will depend on how loud you listen and how much freedom you have to experiment with placement too.
I don't listen louder than low 90db range most of the time and the 25-31PCi I have is more than enough. Put Doom3 on the XBox and I could hear it out at my mailbox at the end of my driveway. The system wasn't turned up that loud but the low end is very powerful from the sub. I'm using maybe 1/3 what the sub can put out for my listening levels.
I've got a 14x16 room, cathedral ceiling about 12' high or so, room is open on two sides fully to open air spaces.
I have no regrets, bang for the buck I'm very happy and the sub works great with music too, much better than the storefront subs in the same price range.
Getting it tweaked is key. If my wife moves it just a few inches in either direction closer to the wall I can tell due to the resonances. I'm running mine about 2' square out from a corner. For my space, that neutralizes a lot of room resonances and smooths out the sub.Harman Kardon AVR-435 Receiver

I am pretty sure I will get the 20-30 PCI, but I am going to send SVS my layout to get their suggestions for the location of it.

Just ordered the last piece of the new setup. It was the SVS 20-39PCI subwoofer. Now waiting impatiently for everything to come in.
Why is signature not showing? I tested it and it worked there.

Yes, the PB10-ISD is the one to own. Don't be fooled by the 10" driver. This is a very capable subwoofer. Fortunately, someone in my area had one for only a few weeks, decided to upgrade, but didn't have the box to return it to SVS. I paid $300. Plus, with SVS, the warranty transfers to the new buyer.
