Anyone going to watch the Seahawks take on the Panthers this weekend?

I don't follow football. but since it's the first time in like 20 + years that they've done this well. i might have to tune in on Sunday anyways. :)

Yes, I for sure will be watching. I am just now getting my voice back after yelling myself, literally, into fainting spells last Saturday. Qwest Field gets LOUD.

"If there was any doubt about that, a blue flag flies atop the Space Needle representing the "12th Man" that has given the Seahawks a decided home-field advantage. Seattle is 9-0 there this season, aided in part by their opponents committing 24 false start penalties - most of any NFL stadium.

To combat that, Fox rolled out jumbo speakers this week to pump jet engine noise onto the practice field.

"Crowd noise is definitely a factor, and I think they've had more procedure penalties in that stadium this year than any other stadium," Fox said. "But I can't think it can by any louder than what we've been practicing in.""

I'll be in my favorite local drinking establishment watching my cherished 'Hawks play this late in the season for the first time in 20+ years. One thing the Panthers can't practice is a 3000 mile plane ride across 3 time zones, sleeping in the wrong bed, at the wrong time, and being in the middle of the third quarter of the game of their lives, with their bodies telling them that they should be in the middle of an after dinner nap. Road warriors, my ****. They've only played 2 games west of the Mississippi all year. I like the Seahawks chances.

The Bears didnt stand a chance. Period. They have like zero offense.

And Im sorry, but the Seahawks, while a great team - are not THAT great. Ive watched the Panthers all season and one thing I think every fan knew, the playoffs would completely depend on which Panther team showed up.

But the Panthers played a horrible game today... lots of dropped passes, missed tackles, mistakes...just bleh

great teams show up when needed. Carolina got outplayed on every side of the ball tonight. The seahawks played well. Panthers did not. whatever panther team shows up means nothing. all the panthers will now be playing golf.

I think Carolina underestimated them. I think the Steelers will win the superbowl simply because they will not be stupid enough to take the hawks for granted. Everyone is couunting out the Seahawks AGAIN. If I were a Steeler, I would not be that stupid.

Who said they did play a good game?

    They played a horrible game...

With Foster out and Goings getting less yards than Jake running - people dropping passes and just overall BS... theres not much more you can expect...

Its just like the time we faced the Bears and we lost badly. No one showed up, it was like they were playing a preseason game or something..

Hawks played a good game, but to say the Panthers didnt deserve to be there, or w/e - is rediculous, the Panthers got there because they limited Tiki barber to under 70 yards rushing, shutting out the Giants and demolishing the Bears defense. Ran over Atlanta and made it that far.

But yes, it was a horrible game.

Steelers win Superbowl! 6th seed baby!

One more thing to add for now. Maybe my favorite part of the game, aside from the winning, was the call to put Seneca Wallace in, and then complete a pass to him. Awesome.

cant argue with that, I cant imagine anyone saying Carolina didnt deserve to get to the playoffs, I saw the Giant Loss. Carolina owned them for 4 quarters. it was pathetic.

Carolina had a great season this year, with some great games and wins leading up to the loss to the Seahawks.
