my older psw140 sub just seemed to quit yesterday.I had already shut off the receiver and I heard a little crackle on my way out.when I came back, no power to the sub.I have had it for 6 years so the warranty is long gone.Is it worth it to get it looked at or repaired. How much is a replacemeent amp for this sub?Help please?

hi mailman and welcome to Club Polk. Unscrew the amp and look for a busted fuse. If all fails, contact Polk customer service.
