Usually my favorite Pro Weekend with the best games and this year holds promise for the same.

Especially so in the AFC as Pitt @ Indy and NE @ Denver should be very good. I think it should produce the anticipated NE @ Indy AFC Championship.

NFC I'm still not as sure of, but good to see "da Bearz" back in the playoffs. Were it colder there I'd pick them, but WeatherChannel says, "SUNDAY: Partly Cloudy Hi 43°", so the Panthers caught a break. Seattle was my pre-seaon NFC pick, and I see no reason to change that now, even with Washington looking surprisingly strong last weekend.

Anyway, just expecting some good games.
More later,
Tour...

The Seattle-Washington game looked like a comedy of errors on both sides. Neither team looked impressive.

Whoever comes out of the NFC is going to have their **** handed to them...

    Carolina has this, 100% IMO

Carolina can take ANYONE in the AFC... lol - we have a good to great offense and a great defense.

The Wash/Seat game was a no brainer --- although it was alot closer than I thought itd be...

Thanks Demi, Great game tonight. Been watching the post game show on the local station and have been very impressed with the the way the Broncos are handling the win. No trash talking, no B.S. Nothing but compliments to a great team and a great game.

The Pats may have lost tonight, but they sure played a great game and had a great season. Hats off to a class organization!!

Can't wait to see the Steelers come to town next week too!

Egads, that was some bad playing by the pats. I haven't seen them make that many mistakes in 5 years. Would have been a really close game without all those BAD errors by the Pats... I won't even mention the few bad calls (pass interference, and the obvious touchback after Watson ran 99 yards to outrun a corner) because the errors are what beat them, not a the refs.

And Denver played a great game. That John Lynch is one amazing player man. I've never seen a guy get so many straight shots at the QB. Seriously. Great player.

    Congrats to Denver fans :)

Well, I was at the Seattle - Washington game, and I can't really comment on the PI calls, but I hear they were bad. They didn't look bad at the game, but, we didn't have all the instant replay you had.

Heres all I know. Seattle lost the MVP, the most valuable player to their team, in the whole NFL, and they still won. I'm sorry, but its sort of impressive. Particularly against a team like Washington and their excellent defense.

Maurice Morris did a good job of stepping it up in place of Alexander, and Seattle outplayed Washington. The defense was great on both ends, even considering that Washington's O hasn't been white hot lately. I love D-Jack and Hasselbeck can father my children if he wants.

Holy smokes was Qwest Field loud. My goodness.

I thought both games had great ebb and flow to them with each team taking old "mo" for a ride here and there. Most of the turnovers fit right in to the flow and were attributable to good defensive plays, not bad offensive ones.

Two biggest surprises to me were Hasselbeck's poise with no running game, and Denver's D.

Its getting old and expensive. Homes are getting ruined, roads are collapsing, commutes suck and its annoying. Today might be the day that ends it though.

Sometimes I tell my wife I should become a dentist, and she reminds me that they are the most likely profession to commit suicide. The other day I found out I'm in the #2 group. Rad.

14-0 Steelers in the first. Not a single first down for Indy yet. I'm confused.

The answer is in Manning's feet... Look at him tap dancing in the pocket. And that was before he was sacked twice in the same possession. I don't think he has a clue yet as to what the Steeler D is doing.

    Awesome start by Pittsburgh.

I'm noticing that too. Indy doesn't seem to have much of an answer to the pass rush.

Which reminds me, holy crap, Seattle has a very good O line, and Washington was VERY effective yesterday with a 3 man rush. Very impressive.

Peyton really settled down late in the 2nd Q. Much calmer in the pocket.

What a freakin' game... thought it was a "Miracle at the Meadowlands" reply for a second there. Then destined for OT... then ... not so much...

Give Cowher credit for ditching the prevent D.

    DAMMIT!!!! That sucks!

That was a great game though! I thought it was all over and couldnt believe that fumble on the goalline, only to have it blown by the most accurate kicker in the league's history to miss the kick by 50 yards! I thought Indy had it!

Oh well, I like Pittsburgh so I wont be heartbroken if they go all the way.

Vanderjagt's a choke artist. He's choked ina big situation before, against the Pats, after running his mouth about how much better he was than them. He's also badmouthed his own team in the past.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy

Thats a load of crap! Manning is one of the best QB's to play the game. He's also a better coach than Dungee.

I agree he should retire now and coach and save the fans more disappointment.
